Huboo Fulfilment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in our order fulfilment processes. As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will work collaboratively with various teams to implement and maintain quality control measures, investigate, and identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the overall success of our fulfilment operations.

Key Responsibilities for a Quality Assurance Operative:

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct Racking checks to ensure the stock in deep storage is correct and in the correct location.
• Implement and enforce quality control processes at key stages of the fulfilment process.
• Identify and address any discrepancies, defects, or issues related to product quality.
• Undertake new client audits on hubs, ensuring that they meet operational requirements.

Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse current processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Propose and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy in fulfilment operations.
• Continually review current practices and procedures, to ensure all opportunities for cost reduction are identified and implemented.
• Provide recommendations for system enhancements that contribute to quality assurance.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections, noting any deviations or corrective actions taken.
• Generate regular reports on quality metrics and key performance indicators.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Training and Development:

• Provide coaching and support to hub managers to address any quality gaps and enable any corrective actions or process improvements to be understood and implemented.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for fulfilment centre staff on quality control procedures.
• Work with Team Managers to ensure that all staff members are aware of and adhere to quality standards.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer complaints related to order fulfilment.

Requirements

Key skills for a Quality Assurance Operative:

• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably within a fulfilment or distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of e-commerce fulfilment processes and industry best practices.
• A driving license is required for this roll as you will be moving between sites covering annual leave an sickness.
