Ecosurety are looking for a talented individual to help develop, manage and deliver our international products and services to our clients. Our primary area of operation is packaging, and we are looking to grow our offering to meet our client’s needs. This opportunity is perfect for someone with a project management, compliance or environmental consultancy background, looking to take ownership and grow a business area whilst fast tracking their personal development. They would be helping high profile brands ensure they meet international environmental compliance standards.

Your primary responsibility will be around 3 key areas: 

  • Management of the international compliance team
  • Coordination and communication with the business and our clients
  • Development of team strategy around product and service delivery

The role will be client facing and will require someone who is entrepreneurial, proactive, and can develop key stakeholder relationships at all levels. The successful candidate will be confident working across multi-discipline teams, liaising and presenting to people at all levels in multiple countries.

Job Description

  • Develop and deliver our international compliance service offering to enhance the client experience. This mainly covers packaging, but also batteries and WEEE.
  • Lead and manage a multifunctional team, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's strategic goals. 
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop new opportunities and improve service delivery 
  • Coordinate daily operations and ensure the team is equipped to deliver high-quality services and meet international compliance requirements.
  • Manage and prioritise team workloads to meet regulatory deadlines across multiple countries.
  • Serve as a key liaison with strategic clients and internal teams
  • Identify new ways of using our current and future information sources to increase business and client understanding of the international compliance landscape and associated opportunities.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders, ensuring they are managed effectively, and that communication is timely and informative.

Person Specification

  • An experienced line manager, project manager, and environmental or compliance consultant, with at least 4+ years’ experience, and a proven track record of value-add service delivery.
  • Proactive and fast learner, able to take on complex regulatory information quickly.
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
  • Able to communicate and build trusted and credible relationships with stakeholders, your peers in the wider business and with clients.
  • Able to manage multiple complex deliveries with conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
  • Highly data literate and able to work with use data to take a data led approach on decisions.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to support and mentor junior team members across multiple teams
  • Ability to use feedback to understand our client’s needs in order to shape our international strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills are a pre-requisite.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial with the ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team
  • International producer responsibility experience and/or the ability to speak additional European languages (e.g. French, German, Spanish) is desirable but not essential.

Package

  • £47-52k per year
  • Permanent contract, 8-hour day with some flexibility
  • 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and the option to buy up to 5 more
  • 5 x salary life insurance, 7% employer pension contribution, up to 10% bonus, employee health cash plan, paid sick leave, critical illness cover, 2 weeks workcation, options to buy additional holiday or unpaid leave, 3 days volunteer leave, happy to talk flexible working, remote working, wellbeing support, great office location, £250 home working set up payment.
  • Hybrid working. At least 2 days required in office.
