Portland Brown are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator!

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will have responsibility for the Accounts Payable function at Portland Brown, ensuring the accurate and timely input of costs into the ledger and payment of suppliers.

You will enjoy supporting emergent projects and business development, including the improvement and implementation of processes within the Purchase Ledger team through changes and growth

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the Purchase Ledger function of the business
  • Review of Creditor status, ensuring payments are made on time and credits are being received, along with the occurrence appropriate supplier invoice authorisations
  • Monthly cost reporting: including property rent costs, property maintenance costs and property acquisitions & refurbishment costs, including supporting the Financial Planning & Business Analyst with cost forecasting
  • Management of relationships with Landlords; including: Timely rent payments and adjustments Costrecharges to Landlords (such as maintenance costs, refurbishment costs or service fees etc.) HMRC tax returns.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met, as well as monitoring the quality and accuracy of the Accounts Payable team’s work
  • Support emergent projects and business development

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified AAT, ACCA or ACA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated, hardworking with drive, ambition, and enthusiasm
  • IT literate: Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office. Training will be provided for OSCAR and QuickBooks
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
