About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Security Research Engineer to join the lab team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge security solutions for endpoint devices, with emphasis on hardware - firmware co-design, and conducting in-depth research, and collaborating with R&D teams to deliver impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop novel security architectures, focusing on hardware-firmware co-design and robust hardware roots of trust.
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure that security solutions align with strategic goals and address real-world challenges.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Design and prototype security solutions to validate their feasibility and effectiveness.
- Document security architectures and technical designs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving security landscapes.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in low-level computer engineering architecture, with a focus on hardware and firmware technologies (e.g., x86, ARM, UEFI, PCIe, DMA).
- In-depth knowledge of computer architecture and security principles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Plus Qualifications:
- Experience with endpoint security and enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of OS kernel and hypervisor security.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Salary: £40K
