Warehouse / Machine Operator- 28,400 per annum - Avonmouth, Bristol - working a rotating (double days) shift pattern, Mon to Fri - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Bonus, Life Assurance, Pension, Onsite parking. Permanent position.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operator / Machine Operator to join a successful manufacturing company. Reporting to the Production Manager and working as part of a team - the successful candidate will have previously worked in a warehouse / stores role with some machine operating experience (ideally within an engineering environment and have experience of using a Band Saw, Chop Saw or similar).

Duties of the Warehouse Operator / Machine Operator will include:

• Loading and unloading materials and putting stock away
• Supplying materials to shop floor
• Despatch work
• Following drawings and work orders to cut materials to size and correct thickness
• Checking materials and carrying out quality checks
• Inspecting first off, using tape, micrometers and calliper instruments
• Stamping and labelling finished goods
• Forklift work - CB licence (or experience) required

The successful candidate will have previous machine operating experience and have worked in stores or warehouse roles within manufacturing environments. You will be able to work from drawings and follow work instructions, as well as checking finished goods. In addition you will have good IT skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced, busy environment.

24,901.50 per hour plus shift allowance ( 3510 per annum)

Permanent position

Avonmouth, Bristol

Double day shift pattern - 6am to 2pm (Mon to Fri) & 2pm to 11.30 (Mon to Thurs)

Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Life Assurance, Onsite parking, Bonus
