Clinical Pharmacist

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum dependant on experience FTE

Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to be part of a friendly and dynamic team within our hospital pharmacy.  

The post holder will play a key role within the pharmacy team delivering services across a variety of elective specialities. They will assist in the provision and development of leading clinical pharmacy services for outpatients’ departments, recovery, inpatient ward and operating theatres.

We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist, ideally with recent hospital experience.  

A supportive learning plan and environment will be provided for candidates with limited experience. Our team already includes several very experienced clinical pharmacists eager to share their knowledge. The national pharmacy leadership team will also be available in supporting you to progress into the organisation and advise you on our pathways and standards.  

Our hospital is situated in Emersons Green, Bristol. It opened 15 years ago and has since built up a great reputation receiving an excellent rating from patients and regulators. We treat over 20,000 patients a year, with excellent outcomes. You can be sure that you are part of a team providing safe, reliable and patient focused care for NHS and self-pay patients. Our facilities are excellent, and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 6 Theatre suites, as well as several treatment rooms shared between our hospital in Emersons Green and our surgical centre in Devizes. Our inpatients comfortably recover on our 30 beds ward where the Pharmacy team is involved in supplying medication and clinical services within the Multi-Disciplinary Team. We also provide remote medication supply, clinical advice and auditing of medicine management to our satellite site in Devizes.
