This is a key position within our business; we are looking someone to drive our Central Government business into 2024.

Overview

Due to significant growth over the past year, we are building the business development team across the i3Group and our associated accounts including Defence and Central Government. This Central Government Account Director role reflects that growth and is critical to the continued success in this area of the business.

Role Summary

  • Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
  • Sector Growth, hitting sector financial targets, commercial management of customers and custom ersatisfaction.
  • Lead customer & partner sales activity and bid-related activity for the Central Government Account.
  • Work with the Delivery Directors to manage business and financial targets.
  • Collaborative working with the Defence Director on cross-sector business development.
  • Provide strategic direction for resourcing & recruitment requirements for the Central Government Account.
  • Manage sales, finance and business reporting in line with company cadence.
  • Commercial management of customer contracts.
  • Enable a cohesive working environment and provide direction of travel from the sector, aligned with company strategy.

Core Skills:

  • Accountable for the identification of new business in sector.
  • Makes decision on which bids will be considered strategic and working collaboratively with strategic bid lead.
  • Responsible for managing client partner relationships within the Central Government.
  • Sets sector financial targets with executive director and accountable for performance against target.
  • Responsible for reporting sales growth and order book performance according to agreed cadence.
  • This role is both a business leadership role and a leader of people, the account lead has a bias. towards business performance which is balanced by their collaboration with delivery who are people biased.
