This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy who specialise in providing energy and sustainability services to the construction industry. They are on the lookout for an individual who is proficient in IES software to maximise the building performance of their projects and join their energy team in Bristol.

Key responsibilities for an IES Modeller include:

• Use IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis to optimise building performance
• Ensure projects are in compliance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59 by carrying out Part O assessments
• Work alongside architects and engineers to ensure the best energy design strategies are put in place
• Help improve client understanding of Part L and Part O
• Provide sustainable solutions to clients to reduce their carbon footprint and mentor the more junior members of the team.

The ideal IES Modeller will have:

• Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis
• Relevant experience in a similar modeller or consultancy role within the built environment industry
• Educational background within an environmental science or engineering field
• Experience producing TM52 and TM59 reports in accordance with CIBSE guidelines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
