PRINCIPLE DESIGN MANAGER

A well established, professional Property Consultancy is actively recruiting a Senior Principal Designer in Bristol.

THE COMPANY

The client specialises in Residential/ Mix Use projects within both public and private sector and has strong relationships with a number of local authorities, developers and housebuilders. Their culture is friendly, encouraging and collaborative.

THE ROLE

This will be a client-facing role and you will carry out duties in accordance with the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA), working with Housing Association and Local Authority clients. You will be given the opportunity to take the lead in planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health & safety across a number of sites - ideal for someone looking for a dynamic and flexible role!

THE CANDIDATE

The successful Principal Designer must:

• Minimum 4-5 years practical experience, ideally consultancy-side
• Professional qualification in designing, building surveying or building services discipline - desirable
• Membership of an approved membership body - IMaPs/ GradIOSH or higher and NEBOSH National Certificate preferred
• Thorough knowledge of CDM Regulations
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety and Building Regulations within the construction industry and on site experience
