The post-holder will be responsible for monitoring the performance and wellbeing of the outpatient reception team. The post-holder will be responsible for auditing and pulling reports for electronic outcoming, assisting with sickness and performance meetings and contributing to the development of SOPs.
Other key responsibilities will include managing HR issues such as: recruitment, return to work meetings, completing occupational health referrals and setting SMART goals for colleagues. The post-holder will also be required to support with ongoing reception projects. The post-holder will be required to operate under their own initiative and take responsibility for daily decision making and have an innovative approach to developing services.

Main duties of the job
- Provide administration and HR support to the Assistant Performance & Operations Manager.
- Supervise members of the Outpatient Reception team where required.
- Assist in the recruitment of staff, ensuring that all staff receives a comprehensive local induction package.
- Compile reports for various HR investigations.
- Inputting, monitoring, and checking data, required for finite and ongoing projects within the teams.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive and contentious information to support complaint responses.
- Develop SOPs for admin processes between reception and other departments.

Essential criteria
- Significant administrative experience including writing up reports
- Demonstrable experience dealing with customers/stakeholder and dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Understanding of the Confidentiality and Data Protection Act
- Experience of managing a team of staff to achieve specified goals and allocating work to deliver results
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge and experience working in an NHS/ healthcare related environment
