Job Requirements/Description

At Co-op, we're proud to do things a different way. As one of the world's largest co-operatives, owned by millions of members, community is at the heart of what we do. Since our Co-op was founded in 1844, we've had a clear social purpose, and everything we do as a business helps to build a fairer world for our members, customers, colleagues, and communities.

We’re now working in a hybrid way, with colleagues dividing their time between working from home and the closest office.

We’re currently looking for an Administrator, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both the administrative and compliance functions of our legal services. In this dual role, you’ll play a key part in running reports and presenting the data from our case management system, lead and organise file audits and help coordinate colleagues within consumer departments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to make a real impact in a dynamic and evolving environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Run and format reports from the case management system into clear, concise, and accessible formats for various stakeholders.
  • Develop custom reports on critical data points, ensuring the information is presented in an easily digestible format.
  • Organise and conduct monthly file audits in line with compliance policies, collating and distributing the findings in a clear, actionable format.
  • Lead regular audits on internal processes and ways of working, compiling and sharing insights with various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external meetings, including preparing detailed agendas and follow-up materials.
  • Manage departmental IT requests such as new starters and equipment.
  • Maintain departmental handbooks, org charts and ways of working guides.
  • General administration within Consumer Legal Services.

This role would suit people who have:

  • Strong administration skills and computer literacy including basic excel skills.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • A strong attention to detail.

Benefits

  • Coaching, training and support such as study leave, to help you develop your skills and progress your career
  • Pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • Incentive scheme up to 10% after probation
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 32 in line with service)
  • Wellbeing benefits to support your physical financial and mental health
  • Discounts on Co-op products and services
  • Wagestream – a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your salary as you earn it

Salary: £23,400 plus great benefits (Work level 6C)
