Temporary Contract - Laboratory Technician

One Scientific Ltd have over 25 years of offering a comprehensive range of microbiological and chemical testing services.

We are looking for 12 months Temporary Contract - Laboratory Technician with an industrial food production skill to support our team in the day to day running of the business, the Laboratory Technician will assist in the food sampling; measuring, analysing and maintain the lab area clean following our sample processing and aseptic technique procedure in cooperation with the rest of our laboratory team.

Key Responsibilities for the role:

• No aspects of this role require any scientific qualification or experience, this is a post for those who like to be busy with their hands and full training is given.
• Preparing samples for analysis including weighing and performing serial dilutions.
• To ensure the maintenance of equipment and adequate stocks of reagents and consumables are upheld in the Lab.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment along with general cleaning duties.

Salary: £11.44 per hour.

Hours: 40 hours per weeks Monday to Friday/Tuesday to Saturday/ between the hours of 12:30-21:00pm.

Holiday: 28 days paid holiday (including BH) pro rata
