Role: As an Arboricultural Consultant, you'll be the go-to expert for clients seeking advice on trees and development. Your role will involve:
- Leading fieldwork and preparing planning documents such as Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Method Statements.
- Advising on BS5837 consultancy and arboricultural planning.
- Navigating arboricultural planning policy and contributing your insights in project team meetings.
- Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring your advice shapes the success of their projects.
Essential Attributes: - Experience with BS5837 consultancy.
- An academic background in arboriculture or a related environmental discipline.
- Technical membership with the Arboricultural Association.
- Knowledge of the UK planning system as it relates to trees.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication, organization, and management skills.
