Job Requirements/Description

We’re looking for enthusiastic driven venue technicians with the passion and drive to join our dedicated technical team. You will be working in a busy and varied environment to provide technical, logistical support for events within our venues, including two theatre spaces and our 1200 capacity venue the Anson Rooms. Events include student society productions, Bristol SU events and external events including conferences. You must have some experience in setting up and operating sound, lighting and AV equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied and challenging working environment, on a diverse range of events.

Candidates must be willing to work evening and weekends where required.

  • You’ll have experience in operating Lighting, Sound and AV equipment.
  • You’ll be able to provide excellent customer service to customers, visitors and our members at Bristol SU.
  • You know how to rigg sound, lighting and AV equipment.
  • You’re able to take responsibility for Health and Safety, technical and event logistics while working on events.
