Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bristol. In this role, you will provide specialist consultancy services, including site investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation strategies. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality environmental solutions to a wide range of clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 geo-environmental site investigations, including soil, groundwater, and gas monitoring.
  • Prepare technical reports, including desk studies, risk assessments, and remediation strategies.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and mitigation measures.
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Support junior staff through mentoring and knowledge sharing, contributing to their professional development.
  • Stay current with industry standards, legislation, and best practices in geo-environmental consultancy.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in geo-environmental consultancy, with a strong understanding of UK environmental regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience in conducting and managing site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to a range of audiences.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., HoleBASE, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
