Taper & Jointer

Are you an experienced Taper and Jointer, seeking your next contract?

Working in Bristol City Centre, my client has an immediate opportunity to join their project on a temporary basis.

Duties:

Sealing all joints between plasterboards

Preparing wall and ceiling surfaces for painting

Report all quality/design problems to the Production Supervisor

Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to Risk Assessment and Procedures

Ensure that all works are manufactured in accordance with drawings and specifications

Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at the level required

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with quality systems and checks

Requirements:

Be able to work at heights e.g. using steps and A-frame ladders

High level of attention to detail

Punctual and reliable

Ability to use hand tools e.g. scrapers, batch pans and 10" and 12" jointing boxes

Taping and Jointing Certificate (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent), is preferred but not essential
