Quality Consultant

Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a Quality Consultant to join the Support Services team on a temporary basis (10-12 months).

Stirling Dynamics is looking for a Quality Consultant to provide maternity cover for a 10-12 month period. The successful candidate will be well versed in an aerospace orientated environment working in accordance with AS9100.

The primary focus will be the day-to-day delivery of all aspects of the company Quality Management System (QMS) with the support of other quality representatives. In addition, we are currently in the process of incorporating an additional company site based in Germany into our QMS.

The successful candidate must be able to work in the Bristol office 3+ days per week and ideally will be able to start the role as soon as possible.

This role will be split into two key areas:

1. The successful candidate will be involved in:
   • Providing the day-to-day quality support to the business
   • Ensuring compliance to the QMS (including internal auditing)
   • Improving and optimising current processes and systems
2. The secondary focus of this role will be on the extension of the UK QMS into a second site in Germany & ultimately leading to accreditation via external audit in 2025.

• Experience and confidence to take responsibility for a small quality function within a regulated business setting.
• Competence to take ownership of own task/activity delivery.
• Ability to work well within a team and autonomously.

• Strong experience with AS9100D applied within small to medium sized entities.
• Experience with organisations that are both services and product based.
• Trained auditor (internal).
