M&E Surveyor

Elevate Project are working in partnership with our client, a reputable Bristol based organisation with a mixed property portfolio including historic public buildings, residential and education, to appoint an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Surveyor to join their busy Technical team. you will pre inspect, specify works and project manage Mechanical and Electrical related works to ensure projects are delivered on time and to agreed budget and quality standards.

1. Building Services

• Mechanical Systems: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, refrigeration, and fire protection systems.
• Electrical Systems: Power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, data and communication networks, and security systems.

2. Condition Surveys and Inspections

• Building Surveys: Assessment of existing mechanical and electrical systems to determine their condition, performance, and remaining lifespan.
• Compliance Inspections: Ensuring that systems meet relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.

3. Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Projects

• Energy Audits: Evaluating energy consumption of mechanical and electrical systems and recommending improvements.
• Sustainable Design: Integrating renewable energy sources (solar panels, heat pumps) and other energy-saving technologies into new or existing buildings.
