Associate Architect

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Architect / Architectural Designer. This is a perfect opportunity for a candidate with experience in major residential developments who boasts a solid foundation in masterplanning and managing projects.

You will be leading and designing a wide range of residential developments/layouts at all scales from 10-500+ homes from feasibility layouts through to planning applications, leading projects and managing small teams.

You will develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that align with project goals, local regulations, and client requirements while providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

You will have:

Minimum 5 years’ experience (UK based) working on residential housing developments

• Excellent residential layout design & architectural skills for outline and RM applications
• Good knowledge of the latest legislations and ensuring projects comply with CDM regulations
• Good understanding of producing associated documents including Design Access Statements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members, along with mentoring junior technicians.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD; Revit experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously within strict timelines and budgets.
• Hand drawn sketching an advantage, but not essential
