SEND Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for committed and supportive SEND Teaching Assistants to join us in supporting our local schools!

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol

Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, 1:1 care

Start Date: Immediate

Rate of pay : p/d, subject to assignment

Hours: 08:30 - 16:00

EXPERIENCE

Desirable:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)

Experience of working with various SEND conditions

Experience of inclusive classroom practice

Understanding how to fully support the teacher in the classroom

Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
