We have a fantastic opportunity for a Reward Specialist, you will work within group reward with primary alignment to the Aviva Investors business. If you are interested in working for an Asset Management business, covering all aspects of reward and compensation, we would love to hear from you! The role offers a wide scope of activities and opportunities to work with different stakeholders daily.

A bit about the job:

You will work with the Head of Aviva Investors Reward and Aviva Investors Reward Consultant, Head of People, wider Aviva Investors People Function and Group Reward team, to support, the design and delivery of the reward aspects of the Aviva Investors People Strategy. You will also support identification of Material Risk Takers (MRTs) and completion of regulatory disclosures across the Aviva UK businesses.

You will also have opportunities to get involved in Reward and other People related activity across the People Function as required. You will understand reward practices in a dynamic competitive landscape. You will work across all aspects of reward; within the standards set by the Group Reward team centrally.

Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from either our Norwich, London, York, or Bristol offices.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience of job evaluation, salary review management, bonus design, project management and benefits design.
  • You will need technical knowledge of pay benefits and compensation issues with related legislation and practice. Ideally have a background in asset management or in a heavily FCA regulated reward environment.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and resolve complex reward issues.
  • Relationship management skills and experience of working as a ‘partner’ to the business.
  • Excellent numerical/analytical skills and IT skills.

  • Salary - national: c.£50,000 / London: c.£75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
