This is the opportunity to join one of the UK s largest and most respected food manufacturing companies working as part of their bust distribution and transport team.

While it s not the largest of hubs, it is certainly a key, busy operation, connecting all their manufacturing sites to their customers.

It s a role that will give you autonomy and demands an analytical, diligent Shift Manager to manage the team of 15-20 and ensure the goods are delivered on time, but more importantly, your drivers are safe and compliant.

Being a people person is key for this role, you ll be focussed on developing your immediate team around you, succession planning and ensuring everyone is skilled up.

While you won t be the one driving the 15-20 arctics going out of the site, it would be beneficial if you had a CPC or HGC license, but certainly not essential.

You ll need a background as a Transport Shift Manager, ideally in an ambient, chilled or frozen food environment, be detailed and thorough in your work, with a desire to deliver a great shift every time you turn up.
