Role Outline 

We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice at Stepping Stones Nursery in Bristol. You will contribute to a high quality caring environment for children, whilst training for the post of Early Years Practitioner. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally.

Qualification 

Upon completion of this course you will gain either a Level 2 qualification as an Early Years Practitioner.

Salary: £6.40 per hour plus a host of exciting benefits!

Hours: 30 hours per week

Your Responsibilities

Key duties

• To work with children.
• To attend training.
• To complete all assignments set.
• To work as part of a team.
• To attend associated training.
• To liaise with mentor and assessor.

General duties

• Contribute to good standards of hygiene and cleanliness in Nursery.
• To undertake other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined by the Nursery
• Manager from time to time.
• To comply with the nursery’s Policies and Procedures.
• To respect the confidentiality of information received.
• To ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children.
• To be aware of the high profile of the nursery and to uphold its standards at all times.
• To be aware of all emergency and fire evacuation procedures.
• To be flexible in hours and duties in order to meet the needs and requirements of the nursery.
