Job Title: Mobile ADAS and Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
Salary:£38,000 + bonus (up to £4,000)
Hours:Monday to Friday 8am - 5.15pm

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating advanced vehicle systems, focusing primarily on ADAS technologies such as collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, and parking assist. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of these advanced systems.
Responsibilities of an ADAS and Diagnostic Technician
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:
Perform thorough diagnostics on ADAS and other electronic systems to identify issues.
Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools to analyse fault codes and system malfunctions.
Interpret data from vehicle systems to perform root-cause analysis and determine necessary repairs.
ADAS Calibration and Repair:
Conduct accurate calibration of ADAS systems, including radar, LIDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors, according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform software updates and firmware upgrades to maintain system accuracy and reliability.
Replace and repair ADAS-related components and sensors as needed.
System Testing and Verification:
Verify the accuracy and performance of repaired systems through rigorous testing procedures.
Ensure ADAS components and systems function correctly by completing post-service inspections.
Documentation and Reporting:
Document work performed, including parts used, calibrations completed, and diagnostic results.
Continuous Learning and Development:
Stay up to date with the latest diagnostic and ADAS technologies, tools, and best practices.
Attend training and certification programs as required to enhance technical skills and keep up with industry standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in automotive diagnostics, with experience in ADAS systems preferred.
Education: Technical qualification in Automotive (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA)
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, specialized ADAS calibration tools, and OEM software systems.
Skills
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and reporting purposes.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
