Are you an experienced accountant looking for a new challenge? Can you work onsite 5 days a week? Are you looking for a senior role within the accounting team? If so we have a brilliant opportunity to join a cash rich and debt free business based just south of the city centre in the capacity of Senior Group Accountant. As part of a team and supporting the Group FD you'll take ownership and responsibility for the following:
Preparation of monthly management accounts for site and at amalgamated group level
Variance analysis commentary
Compiling forecasts and budgets for allocated companies and amalgamation of budgets/forecasts at group level
Collation of reports from group companies for provision of high level commentary and preparation of key daily, weekly and monthly reports for the group.
Perform cashflow monitoring, authorise bank transactions and update of control reports for supplier payments across the group ensuring each company pays correctly and on time.
Responsible for Environmental and Utility reporting and adherence to regulations.
Oversight of compliance with bank lending covenants and preparation of reports for Bank
Perform reconciliations of allocated companies as well as ensuring intercompany balances are reconciled between the company sites and settled as per Group policy.
Assist with compliance audit activity across group companies and occasional site visits.
This role has excellent exposure to the senior leadership team so is a great next step for an accountant looking for added challenge and is working for a very financially secure business which has free car parking.
