Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Location: Bristol - 2 days per week

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join a leading platform provider's newly formed AI squad. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge ML and AI technologies and make a real impact in a dynamic team.

About the Role

You’ll work with both traditional machine learning algorithms and large language models (LLMs), developing Proof of Concept (PoC) projects that showcase how AI and ML can enhance our products. Once proven, you’ll turn PoCs into robust, deployable models. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are key, as you’ll work alongside colleagues of diverse backgrounds, helping to establish best practices for ML development.

Role Responsibilities:

• Hands-on work with ML algorithms and LLMs
• Build and present PoC projects demonstrating AI/ML potential
• Develop robust models from successful PoCs
• Coach and share expertise with team members
• Help define best practices for the ML development lifecycle

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience creating PoCs with LLMs, either commercially or in personal projects
• Working knowledge of the Azure environment
• Strong background in traditional ML algorithms
