I’m looking for an MLOps Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer who predominantly works at the production stage of the ML lifecycle.

This is an awesome opportunity to join one of our long-standing clients in the South West who are at an exciting point in their journey and looking to scale their ML team.

This will best suit those who can effectively bridge the gap between software and ML engineering and have prior experience designing and building cloud architecture and scaling machine learning platforms.

Computer Vision is essentially the backbone of the business or their suite of products so any experience working with image processing techniques would be an advantage but is by no means essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Deployment and MLOps:

• Develop and deploy production-grade ML models.
• Implement robust MLOps frameworks and policies to streamline the ML lifecycle.
• Monitor model performance and evaluate metrics to ensure optimal results.

Machine Learning Engineering:

• Design, implement, and optimise ML algorithms and models using Python.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code for ML pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ML advancements.

Technical Skills:

• ML Pipeline and MLOps: Expertise in building and managing end-to-end ML pipelines, including MLOps practices.
• Model Evaluation: Proficiency in applying relevant metrics to monitor and assess model performance.
• Python Proficiency: Strong command of Python programming, including libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib, and OpenCV.
• Code Quality: Ability to write clean, robust, readable, error-handling, and error-tolerant code.
• API Development: Expertise in developing APIs using frameworks like FastAPI.
• Infrastructure as Code: Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Docker and Terraform.
• AWS Services: Familiarity with AWS services relevant to ML deployment.

Bonus:

• Computer Vision: Knowledge of AI/ML techniques for image processing.

The business operates a hybrid working policy with roughly three days a week required in either their Bristol or Exeter offices.

The salary on offer is up to £90,000.
