7.5t Delivery Driver

Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with Parcelforce to source 7.5t Collection and Delivery Drivers to support with their busy operation.

• Location: Patchway – BS34
• Hours: Monday – Friday. 1000 start, 38 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: £20.77 per hour

About the Collection and Delivery Driver role
You'll start your day in the delivery office, planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. You’ll then be collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses.

About You

• The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.
• You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.
• Parcel force deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy being outdoors and comfortable lifting and carrying parcels weighing up to 30kg.
• You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.

 Previous Experience

• You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.
• A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) with 7.5 tonnes (Cat C1) entitlement
• DCPC and tacho
• Maximum 6 penalty points
