If so, at eXPD8 we're looking for an experienced and dynamic Recruitment Manager to support our continued business growth.

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a defined area of the business, including developing and implementing bespoke strategies and plans, overseeing a team, and ensuring eXPD8 attracts and hires top talent. They act as a business partner, supporting and coaching key stakeholders.

About the role:

This is a hybrid role, so you'll be partially based in our Bristol Head Office for 2 days a week and at home for 3 days a week.

How you'll deliver excellence:

Workforce Planning

  • Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to proactively understand their staffing needs and timelines.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet eXPD8's workforce needs.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment activities and progress to senior management.
  • Generate and analysis recruitment metrics and reports to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the recruitment team and other departments.

Team and Department Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the recruitment team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and implement them within eXPD8.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices.

Candidate Sourcing and Talent Pipeline

  • Manage the sourcing of candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals and strategic partners.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Communications to develop and implement strategies to enhance eXPD8's employer brand and attract high-quality candidates.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future job openings.

Interviewing and Selection:

  • Ensure a standardised and effective interview process is implemented across all areas of the business.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Conduct structured phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and fit for the role as needed and guide the interview process.
  • Document accurate, clear, and objective interview notes, outcomes and recommendations in the ATS.

What makes you excellent:

  • Proven experience as a recruitment manager, or similar role, in a high-volume internal recruitment function.
  • Proven experience managing, coaching and motivating a team to high performance.
  • Experience administrating an Applicant Tracking System, particularly eARCU.
  • Knowledgeable about recruitment best practices.
  • A confident and compassionate communicator, able to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly across the core Microsoft suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Word).
  • Comfortable and confident handling confidential data.
