Salary: £31,437 – £39,296 pro-rata for part time roles

We have an exciting new opportunity for a proactive, conscientious and organised person to support the Hair and Beauty Team as a Hairdressing Lecturer to work within the Service Industries Department, you will be responsible for monitoring, teaching and assessing students who are studying hairdressing so that they may progress to work in the hairdressing Industry.

You will need to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Hairdressing techniques or equivalent and be able to demonstrate that you have a minimum of five years’ up to date experience working as a Stylist in a commercial salon.

You will have previous experience of teaching as a hairdressing Lecturer and you can demonstrate that you have supported students to achieve outstanding results to support their progression. You will also hold a level 3 TAQA Award and a Certificate in Education or equivalent.
