Director - Structural Engineering

Opportunity to open, lead and grow the Civil & Structural Engineering service of a world class engineering consultancy in Bristol.

This multidisciplinary practice has already established and developed a number of services in Bristol and are making this investment to extend the C&S team west, out of London and into Bristol. They have a track record and ongoing workstreams in the southwest, particularly in student accommodation, residential, commercial, mixed-use, and build to rent projects. You'll take it to the next level and build a strong regional team over the coming years, differentiating through technical excellence, innovation and sustainability in design and customer service.

The combination of brand, existing work, high quality delivery team in London (to support you until you create your own Bristol based team), substantial local market presence and values that include creating a friendly work environment and strong team ethos make this a place to thrive and reach your potential. The appointment can be made at Director, Associate Director or even Associate grade, with the opportunity to earn promotions on merit. You just need to show us you have the talents and motivation to realise the opportunity.

What we are looking for in you:

• Personal brand and relationships in Bristol/ southwest
• Track record of retaining good clients and winning new business in the southwest
• Technically excellent and a Chartered Member of the IStructE and or MICE
• A leader (established or emerging/ future leader), who can attract and retain a team
• Commercially astute (with the support of the wider leadership team)
• The aspiration and dynamism to realise this opportunity
