Event Sales Manager (Conferences)
Location: Bristol BS2 8PE
Salary: £25,000 - £33,000 per annum, basic with an additional commission scheme (the salary offer is dependent on previous sales experience)

This role sits within the conference department who work across 50+ global events a year. Their events connect and inspire leaders across the global plastics industry.

The Role
To develop and have overall responsibility for executing plans to increase revenue and hit agreed sales targets across a defined portfolio of events. In addition to new business, customer retention and loyalty is critical to the long-term success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach to potential customers through emails and calls
- Collaboration with the event project team
- Develop sales strategy for events and execution of sales strategy
- Management of key customer contacts and accounts through regular meetings
- Communication to Event Sales Team Manager on event progress and raise any project challenges
Who are you?
- An experienced Sales Manager, preferably with a background in the events industry (no event experience is not a deal breaker)
- A strategic sales manager with experience juggling several products/projects at one time
- Confident in building and developing relationships
- A proactive team player, always looking for new ways to upskill yourself and those around you!
- A self-aware individual, open to self-reflection and gathering feedback from others
- Someone who likes to travel, the role involves regular travel to their events which are across Asia, the USA and Europe
- A bringer of energy and fun!
