Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company based in Bristol, is seeking a skilled Additive Manufacturing Technician to contribute to their cutting-edge projects as part of the production team. As an Additive Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components, following operational procedures whilst also ensuring compliance of standards and collaborating closely with engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing machines for builds, conducting routine maintenance, resolving issues and troubleshooting, and supporting the engineering team.
- Operate and maintain machine equipment, including post-processing, parameter maintenance and quality control inspections.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Troubleshooting any potential technical issues in the printing process.
- Conducting regular quality checks on the printed parts and documenting/implement deviations in the process.
- Implement process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adhere to strict regulatory standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Stay abreast of the latest additive manufacturing technologies and industry advancements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in engineering, focusing on production or manufacturing in an industrial setting.
- Knowledge and passion for additive manufacturing technologies and willingness to learn new process techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, able to follow precise instructions and procedures.
Bonus Experiences:
- Experiences/Understanding of welding techniques/robotics/CNC.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to manufacturing standards.
