A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be part of supporting improvements and partnerships within Bristol.

The Policy, Improvement and Partnerships Team works to support improvements in service delivery and outcomes across children’s, education, and adult services within Bristol.  

This includes facilitating external reviews and inspections and identifying associated improvement activity. 

The Improvement and Strategy Development Lead will work at the centre of directorates to lead continuous improvement arrangements to improve outcomes for people that use services within Bristol.

The Improvement and Strategy Development Lead will work alongside the leadership team to prepare for and ensure delivery against key inspection, assurance, and sector-led improvement frameworks across children and adult services.  

You will lead key improvement projects and workstreams that relate to strategic improvement priorities.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic individual who is able to take initiative and drive change. 

You will have significant relevant experience of improvement and strategy development, including inspection frameworks. 

You will have knowledge of the strategic planning cycle, including consultation, engagement, and co-production. 

You will be required to work at pace, build positive relationships with partners and be responsive to complex and changing needs and demands. 

This role will be predominantly focussed on SEND work, however the you will be required to work flexibly across all service areas to meet service demands.
