The role

The new School of Civil, Aerospace and Design Engineering?is looking to recruit a full time Executive Assistant.

The Executive Assistant works closely with the Executive Support Manager to provide high-level executive and administrative support to senior individuals in the academic and professional services teams. The successful role holder will facilitate office support, events and enabling efficiency in our practices. The role holder will also provide PA support to our Head of School and School Manager.

What will you be doing?

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the new schools within the Engineering faculty.

The post holder will?work?under the supervision of the Executive Support Manager to ensure key activities are managed and delivered on time and will provide high-quality administrative and executive support to senior academics in one of the school.

You will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating a central administration workload; supporting committee meetings, induction and recruitment processes, communications and events. You will play a vital role in facilitating the school’s wider administration requirements, across multiple sites.

You have a proven track record in administration and possess excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be able to form effective relationships with staff and stakeholders at all levels and must be highly organised, with a flexible, proactive, and supportive approach to work, with a friendly and positive disposition.
