Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 plus a 5% recruitment and retention premium.
Contract: 18 months (Fixed term until completion of appenticeship.)
Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (A minimum of 2 days per week to be worked in Trust Headquarters.).
Accountable to a Senior Management Accountant and working closely with Management Accountants, this post is responsible for helping to provide a pro-active management accounting service to the Trust’s budget managers, and working as part of a pool of staff to support the work of the Finance team.
Main duties of the job
- Duties include helping to produce divisional monthly accounts, assisting in analysing financial information, producing financial reports and answering budget manager’s queries.
- The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, flexible and self-motivated, with a desire to contribute positively to the team and wider organisation. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to manage your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- A good working knowledge of excel and an interest in learning to use new systems and software to enable you to work effectively and efficiently are essential.
