Shared Lives Officer

Permanent, Part Time 14.8 hours per week working 2 days Monday and Tueday.

Bristol Shared Lives is a City Wide service recruiting, assessing, supporting and monitoring self-employed Shared Lives Carers who provide care and support in their own home. Carers offer short breaks/Respite, Day Support or Long Term placements to vulnerable adults who have been assessed as eligible by Adult Social Care.

You will work as part of a small team recruiting and assessing prospective carers and providing Support and Monitoring to existing carers and their placements.

The role is flexible and varied requiring someone with strong communication and organisational skills who is able to work independently as well as being part of a team.

Experience of working with vulnerable adults in a range of services alongside other professionals and a commitment to providing person centred support is required. Supervisory experience desirable but not essential.

You will need to be a car driver with own transport as travel across Bristol is required.
