Contract : Term-time only, Tuesday-Thursday,long-term

I'm seeking a DTTeacher with Textiles or Fashion experience. I would also like to hear from Artand Design Teachers with an interest in textiles.

Key Skills

Prior experience with textile tools, equipment and materials.

General enthusiasm and interest in this subject field.

Great team player with plenty of initiative.

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing, setting up and maintaining a wide range of equipment and materials for Textiles practicals.

Supporting teachers and students in the classroom/workshop environment.

Assisting with the development and implementation of engaging and practical learning activities.

Contributing to the overall organisation and smooth running of the Design & Technology department.

Requirements

Proficient in the use of equipment and materials according to area of expertise.

Understanding of Textiles as a subject specialism.

Must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Right to work in the UK.
