SEN Teaching Assistant - Part time

We are seeking a part time SEN TA to join a vibrant and diverse Primary school in Knowle West, South Bristol. You will be joining an established team of dedicated teachers providing suport and guidence to KS1 pupils and day to day assistance to the teaching team.

About the role:

• Providing support to children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support student progress to ensure each child reaches their full potential
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential
• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive school community
• Ability to adapt to individual students and their requirements
