Reception TA

Your new school

A primary school in North Bristol are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This school are welcoming to all TA staff and treats them as though they are part of the permanent staffing team. They will provide extra support on a daily basis to ensure they get the best from their TAs. The school have one reception class with a Teacher and permanent TA in the class. There is no parking available at the school but there are excellent public transport links to the school.

Your new role

In this Teaching Assistant job you will be working within reception supporting the EYFS team. The schools new intake have settled into school life, and they believe there are a couple of children who will require additional support. You will assist these pupils through the school day, ensuring they transition to school life in the best possible way. You will also hold general classroom assistant duties and assist the class teacher with these.

What you'll need to succeed

• Teaching Assistant experience within a school
• 2 working/voluntary references
• Availability to complete a compliance process and gain a DBS
