Employee Engagement and Communications Consultant

Are you a passionate and creative communications professional looking for your next role? If so, this new Employee Engagement and Communications Consultant role might be for you.

We are looking for a proactive individual who has experience in developing and delivering integrated internal communications and employee engagement strategies in line with the corporate priorities and values.

You will have experience of applying innovative tactics to strategies whist adding value to teams by providing advice and support to senior leaders and project leads in order to help them communicate clearly and with integrity.

We are looking for an experienced communication professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects.

Your role will be to lead on the development and delivery of a communication strategy for the council’s transformation programmes. In addition, you will be supporting the team to deliver the weekly communications pulse of news and updates to the workforce, and may be required to support with reactive communications and reputational matters, so experience in this would be advantageous. You’ll also work pro-actively to increase the visibility of senior leadership and create engagement opportunities for our colleagues.

You would be joining a team of five and must be available to work in City Hall as and when required.
